Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation of purchase orders based on assigned materials.
- Provide requisitioners up-to-date information on the status of open purchase orders.
- Ensures tethical, fair and objective business and negotiating practices in order to have positive and effective relationshio with suppliers.
- Follows all purchasing policies, systems and procedures.
- Ensures continuous flow of supply of materials and on-time response to purchase request, ensure "no stock out of materials".
- Negotiates prices with vendors for prime materials and other supplies as needed prior to its approval to help increase company's profitability.
- Work with vendors to ensure product availability, delivery scheduling and to solve any pricing or other issues.
