VIVA Railings is looking for a driven and experienced Inside Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Business Development team. The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the Business Development team by engaging prospective clients, managing the sales pipeline, and identifying new business opportunities. This role focuses on understanding client needs, coordinating with internal teams, and maintaining accurate CRM records to drive sales performance. The Inside Sales Specialist will conduct outreach through calls, emails, and digital platforms, prepare and coordinate bid-related information, and nurture long-term client relationships. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Client Engagement – Partner closely with the Business Development Manager (BDM) in a 1:1 setting to engage clients, understand their project needs, and identify sales opportunities.
  • CRM Management – Use Salesforce to track leads, update records, monitor follow-ups, and generate reports for visibility and pipeline accuracy.
  • Estimating Coordination – Maintain bid lists, gather project details, and coordinate with internal teams to clarify scope with General Contractors.
  • Lead Generation – Conduct targeted cold email outreach, follow-ups, lead research, and networking to uncover new business opportunities.
  • Relationship Building – Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to support repeat business and strengthen trust.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering/Architecture or equivalent
  • Knowledge of construction terms, materials, estimating and timelines
  • Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Experience with takeoffs or estimating support
  • Understanding of general construction/architect/designer relationships
  • Inside sales, lead generation, or sales support experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills (emails, calls, follow-ups, presentations)
  • Experience coordinating/working with U.S. clients
