Valen Homecare Ltd. is a healthcare agency serving Ottawa and surrounding areas. Founded by experienced nurses, our mission is to provide high-quality care and support to clients in need. We are currently hiring two full-time Virtual Assistants to support our growing operations.
Role Summary
We are seeking experienced and motivated Virtual Assistants with a background in HR, customer service, and healthcare staffing. The ideal candidates will be proactive, organized, and committed to supporting company growth through effective communication and scheduling.
Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat professionally and promptly.
Assist with HR tasks including onboarding, interview coordination, and employee record management.
Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening applicants, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain staff schedules and ensure shift coverage.
Handle after-hours messages and forward them appropriately.
Foster positive relationships with staff and clients to support retention.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HR, customer service, or healthcare staffing.
Familiarity with Canadian healthcare staffing policies.
Strong initiative and ability to contribute to company growth.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual tools.
Ability to work independently and follow assigned schedules.
Valid police check dated within the last 6 months (required before interview).
Must be available to start immediately.
Employment Terms
Full-time position.
Three-month probation period.
Monthly salary payment.
No employee benefits provided.
Work schedule will be assigned by the company.
