Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dedicated Full-Time Onsite Virtual Assistant with a healthcare background to support our healthcare team in Cebu City. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare administration and be able to efficiently manage a variety of administrative tasks while maintaining excellent communication with both patients and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for healthcare professionals or teams.
- Patient Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, answering inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a friendly, professional manner.
- Medical Documentation: Assist with data entry, transcription, and management of patient records while ensuring adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
- Appointment Scheduling & Follow-Ups: Coordinate patient appointments, manage scheduling, and ensure follow-up reminders are sent on time.
- Billing & Coding Assistance: Support the medical billing and coding process, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submissions (if applicable).
- File Management: Organize and maintain digital and physical files, ensuring that all patient information is easily accessible and up to date.
- Task Management: Track tasks, deadlines, and projects using office management systems to ensure efficient workflow.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Medical Research: Conduct basic research on medical topics, healthcare procedures, or industry news to assist healthcare providers in staying informed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant or in a healthcare-related administrative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and experience with healthcare software (e.g., EHR/EMR systems, scheduling tools).
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medical records management.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent time-management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Confidentiality: Knowledge and adherence to confidentiality standards in healthcare (e.g., HIPAA compliance).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with medical billing and coding.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and other healthcare-related software.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time, Onsite position located in Cebu City.
- Monday to Friday (Nightshift, EST)
- Competitive salary based on experience.
