Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Liloan, Cebu for an R&D Chef. The R&D Chef will be responsible for creating new recipes, testing new dishes, and improving existing menu items. Day-to-day tasks include ingredient sourcing, monitoring food quality, collaborating with kitchen staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The R&D Chef will also be tasked with trend analysis, menu planning, and contributing creative ideas to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

  • Culinary skills, including experience in recipe creation, food preparation, and cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of ingredient sourcing and monitoring food quality
  • Menu planning and creative idea generation
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and compliance
  • Ability to analyze food trends and adapt to new culinary styles
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
