HR Supervisor (Generalist)

Reports to: Head of Finance  

Location: Makati (Hybrid)

Job Summary

The HR Supervisor oversees end-to-end HR operations including payroll, recruitment, government compliance, employee benefits, and HR administration. This role ensures the smooth and compliant delivery of all HR functions for a small, growing company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly payroll, adjustments, government contributions, and taxes.

  • Manage SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG enrollment, updates, remittances, and loan/benefit processing.

  • Handle HMO administration (enrollment, deletion, billing, claims).

  • Lead recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Maintain 201 files, HR documents, and ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws.

  • Monitor attendance, leaves, overtime, and validate data for payroll.

  • Support employee relations, disciplinary documentation, and engagement activities.

  • Manage offboarding: clearance, exit interviews, and final pay coordination.

  • Prepare HR reports and coordinate with Finance for payroll funding and audits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field.

  • At least 2 years HR generalist experience, preferably in a small company or startup.

  • Strong knowledge in payroll, government statutory systems, and labor laws.

  • Proficient in Excel and HRIS/payroll tools.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, discreet, and able to work independently.
