About the role
The
Marketing Manager
is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance our retail brands, drive customer engagement, and deliver measurable business results. This role focuses on creating a cohesive and memorable retail experience by optimizing touchpoints, managing marketing budgets, and leveraging insights to craft innovative campaigns. Additionally, the Retail Marketing Manager collaborates with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment with the company's mission and vision while driving both brand equity and revenue growth.
What you will be doing
- Oversees marketing budgets and evaluates campaign ROI to maximize sales performance.
- Leads retail marketing and shopper communication strategies for Primer brands and ensures market leadership through competitive analysis and action plans.
- Drives new store development and strategic openings in collaboration with operations teams.
- Enhances customer experience through experiential zones, impactful campaigns, and seamless execution across all retail touchpoints.
- Adopts and optimizes digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Expands the reach and impact of in-house brands through targeted initiatives and brand performance monitoring.
- Develops strategies to enhance customer acquisition, loyalty, and advocacy while using insights from surveys and feedback to improve satisfaction.
- Analyzes trends, behaviors, and feedback to refine marketing strategies and improve product-market fit.
- Implements LSM campaigns to drive foot traffic, conversion, and spend, ensuring alignment with local market needs and brand objectives.
- Trains and develops staff, ensures policy compliance, and oversees smooth daily operations.
- Conducts team meetings and provides tailored development plans for direct reports.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a retail marketing or similar role; with people management experience
- Proven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns that drive sales and footfall
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer data and market trends
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas
- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest retail marketing trends and best practices
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
