The Information Security Officer (ISO) is tasked in ensuring that the Information Security Framework, Information Security Strategic Plan and Information Security Program are aligned with the business objectives of the company. Ensuring that those plans are implemented across the company is also part of the ISO's role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Formulate the ISSP and ISP for approval by the Board and Senior Management;
  • Implement and manage the duly-approved ISSP and ISP;
  • Coordinate and work with business process owners and executives across different departments to ensure that information security requirements support business needs and security systems and processes are working as intended;
  • Enforce compliance with the ISP and the corresponding policies, standards and procedures across the organization and conduct security awareness and training programs catered to different sets of stakeholders;
  • Educate, inform, and report to the Board and Senior Management relevant information security issues and concerns;
  • Prepare business cases for certain security control technologies, products, and arrangements for Board and Senior Management's approval;
  • Ensure that security controls and processes are embedded throughout the lifecycle of information, systems, applications, products and services;
  • Assist in the effective implementation of information security incident response plan; and
  • Assist in ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to information security-related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Educating colleagues about security software and best practices for information security.
  • Performing other tasks as may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or EC Engineering or technology related courses.
  • Has sufficient knowledge, technical background, skills and training to enable him to perform the above assigned tasks
  • Professional information security certification is a plus.
  • Working in the financial technology industry is an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of various information security frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to educate a non-technical audience about various security measures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least 4 to 5 years meaningful experience in information security role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
