About the role

Engage on a project-based or hourly basis to produce clear, conversion-focused copy across web, email, social, and advertising assets. Deliver work that aligns with defined brand guidelines, campaign briefs, and measurable marketing objectives. Contractor controls the manner and means of performance, subject to deadline and quality requirements.

Key Responsibility

  • Develop high-quality, compelling copy that supports marketing campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Optimize website and blog content for SEO to improve visibility and rankings
  • Write persuasive ad copy for digital campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Create engaging social media captions and content that drive audience interaction
  • Maintain brand voice and consistency across all communication channels
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact
  • Stay updated on content marketing trends and industry best practices
  • Write clear, engaging, and conversion-driven content for websites, blogs, ads, and social media
  • Conduct research to ensure accurate, relevant, and industry-specific messaging
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and developers to align content with brand goals
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in web, content, or marketing copywriting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing website content, blogs, social media, and ad copy
  • Excellent command of grammar, tone, and storytelling techniques
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword integration

Suggested Pay: $6 an hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday EST schedule

Job Type: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 per week
