About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team at QQEnglish in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career development within our dynamic organization.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the full recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires
  • Administer employee records and ensure compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support the company's growth and employee wellbeing
  • Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management, disciplinary issues, and employee relations
  • Coordinate employee benefits, including leave, insurance, and other entitlements
  • Organize and deliver training and development programs to upskill our workforce
  • Assist with the planning and execution of company-wide events and initiatives

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Proficient in HR information systems and data analysis
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
