Focus People Market Research Recruitment assists Advertising Agencies, Marketing Departments, Government Departments and Market Research companies with their research projects. We recruit respondents for research projects all around Australia (Metro, Regional and Rural areas), we assist clients to book suitable venues for their research project and assist with ensuring their project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Daily tasks required

Your role will involve working closely with our Melbourne team to find the right people for our client's projects.  You will have an excellent phone manner, good communication skills and a high level of attention to detail.

You will mainly be calling people from our large database who want to take part in the research projects we have on offer.  These people will have filled out a survey and expressed interest in taking part in these projects.  Your role will be to call them, screen them again over the phone to ensure they are meeting our client's requirements then book them into the project.  You will send a confirmation email to them and make a note in our database (Focus Pocus)  that you have booked them into this project.

There are some projects which require you to call people from a client list. You will need to screen these respondents to make sure they are eligible for the research you are recruiting for and book them into the session.

Expectations in this role

You need to make an average of one booking per hour - at least 8 bookings per day - ideally more than this but this is the minimum.  This expectation will be from after your initial training period.

Skills/Knowledge/Qualifications needed and Training

All training will be provided however we would love someone who has had previous experience on the phones.  Would be ideal if someone knew what market research was (or who has taken part in research themselves).
