The Audit Specialist for Asset Loss will assist the Audit Manager in the development of an audit plan, strategies, programs, and procedures. The Audit Specialist will perform procedures that test the efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls to prevent losses and protect assets. The Audit Specialist will review and prepare reports summarizing audit findings and provide recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, or any business-related course.
  • With at least Five (3) to (5) working experience in internal audit. A licensed CPA, CIA, and MBA is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in auditing techniques and management principles
  • Results oriented, highly analytical, and have keen attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • With the ability to identify audit problems, develop action plans, and recommends corrective action.
  • Ability to effectively manage people, and task responsibilities
  • Has excellent project and time management skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Audit Manager in the development of audit strategies, programs, and procedures
  • Oversee audit activities and ensure completion in accordance with scheduled audit
  • Review inventory accuracy and operational audit
  • Review audit findings and provide a recommendation to prevent losses and protect assets.
  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls to improve operational efficiency.
  • Organize training for the audit team for skill development.
  • Other audit projects assigned by the immediate officer or by the head of the Audit and Compliance Department.
  • Evaluate the performance of audit staff/associate and provide appropriate feedback
