JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor (Finished Goods)

Department: Warehouse / Logistics

To: Transpo Manager

Supervises: Warehouse Staff, Helpers, and Forklift Operators

Broad Function: Responsible for overseeing and managing the entire warehouse operations for finished goods — ensuring accurate inventory, efficient storage, safe handling, and timely dispatch of notebooks, hard copies, and all finished product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Warehouse Operations Management: Supervise the daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, organizing, and dispatching of finished goods. Ensure products are properly labeled, stacked, and stored in designated areas. Monitor warehouse layout and optimize space utilization for efficiency and safety.

  2. Inventory Control: Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies. Ensure all finished goods are accurately recorded in the inventory system. Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) principles as applicable.

  3. Dispatch and Delivery Coordination: Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods to clients or distribution points. Prepare dispatch documentation such as delivery receipts, gate passes, and inventory reports.

  4. Team Supervision and Leadership: Assign daily tasks to warehouse personnel and ensure smooth workflow. Train and guide warehouse staff on proper handling, safety, and quality standards.Evaluate staff performance and enforce discipline when necessary.

  5. Safety, Security, and Housekeeping: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations related to warehouse operations. Safeguard company property, goods, and equipment against damage or loss.

  6. Reporting and Documentation: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports (e.g., stock movement, inventory summary, and dispatch reports). Report discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to immediate superior promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: At least 1-3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse operations, preferably handling finished goods in manufacturing or printing industries.

Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills. Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge in inventory control methods and logistics processes.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physically fit and capable of supervising warehouse work activities.

Other Requirements:

  • Willing to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Must be detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive.
