About the Role:

We are looking for a BIR and Compliance Consultant who will serve as Mosaic's in-house expert for BIR, tax, and regulatory compliance. This role will help ensure that the company, its systems, and its clients meet all required government and internal audit standards.

You will work closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams, as well as external partners and auditors, to ensure accurate reporting and proper compliance across all transactions and filings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Mosaic's in-house expert on BIR regulations, compliance requirements, and audit procedures.
  • Review and monitor compliance of all Point-of-Sale (POS) machines and related documentation with BIR standards.
  • Oversee registration, renewal, and cancellation processes for BIR permits, PTUs, and Machine Identification Numbers (MINs).
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify gaps in compliance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Provide compliance guidance to internal teams and partner merchants, including updates on new BIR rules and issuances.
  • Support internal training on compliance awareness and documentation standards.
  • Prepare and submit compliance and audit reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Legal Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in BIR compliance, tax audit, or regulatory affairs.
  • Strong understanding of BIR policies, eFPS, eBIRForms, and POS system accreditation processes.
  • Experience working in or with POS providers, audit firms, or F&B/retail companies is an advantage.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
