About the Job

The Area Sales Representative is expected to mainly handle the sales activities such as generating leads, relationship maintenance, ensuring the fulfillment of sales targets, and managing the after sales support of a specific area. Additionally, the Area Sales Manager is tasked to participate in training and conferences, and form sales reports and plans about one's assigned area. This role is open to individuals who are fresh graduates in medical-related fields of study, have a desire to develop a career in Sales and learn about the In-vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, are effective communicators, and are adaptable and analytical.

Responsibilities

Area Sales Representatives are expected to…

  • Handle sales activities such as selling products to both new and existing customers in a specific area;
  • Handle customer relationship management by building and maintaining relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction;
  • Handle lead generation by developing target market area;
  • Handle sales presentation and management by completing sales transaction from promotion, booking of order delivery, to its collection, and conducting demo and programming of some small designated instruments of the company among others;
  • Handle negotiation of prices, terms and contracts with stakeholders to secure sales;
  • Handle sales reporting by keeping track and conducting metrics, itinerary and weekly coverage reports among others;
  • Handle after sales support by constantly providing support to clients, and monitoring aging collections in the area;
  • Undergo trainings to enhance one's sales knowledge and shall be mentored by senior sales professionals.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Open to fresh graduates, individuals who have prior experience in the In-vitro diagnostics industry or related industries are preferred
  • Must have a college degree (Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or other related fields) or higher
  • Individuals who are adaptable and analytical
  • Individuals who are seeking to develop a career in Sales and are interested to learn about the IVD industry
  • Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Residence must be within the specified area of responsibility
  • Proficient in productivity tools (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint; proficiency in Google Workspace and/or Canva is a plus)

Work Arrangements and Other Details

Job Level: Entry-level

Work Mode: Onsite

Working Days: Mondays to Fridays (8:00-17:00)
