Job Overview
The Assistant General Manager will oversee the operations of Moonrock and Mr. Turtle, focusing on high-end resto-bars and recreation. This role requires a highly organized, structured, and hands-on professional who can ensure operational excellence, exceptional guest experiences, and profitability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is capable of managing multiple operational areas with discipline and efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Guest Experience
- Oversee daily operations of resto-bars and recreation facilities, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Maintain high standards of guest experience, ambiance, and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control for food, beverages, and operational supplies.
- Plan and implement schedules, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize operations.
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop department managers, supervisors, and operational staff.
- Establish clear work structures, responsibilities, and accountability across teams.
- Conduct training programs to maintain consistent service and operational standards.
Financial & Performance Management
- Monitor budgets, sales performance, revenue, and cost control.
- Oversee POS reporting, cash handling, and reconciliation.
- Analyze operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain hygiene, security, and operational safety standards.
Event & Recreation Management
- Plan, coordinate, and execute special events, promotions, and recreational activities.
- Collaborate with vendors, performers, and partners to ensure smooth event execution.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and adjust operations to enhance experiences during events.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality, F&B, or recreation management, preferably in high-end restaurants or bars.
- Strong organizational, planning, and operational management skills.
- Proven leadership ability to manage teams, establish structure, and enforce accountability.
- Experience in budget monitoring, revenue management, and operational reporting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Professional, polished, and guest-focused demeanor.
