About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Legal professional to join our dynamic team at Select Goods' in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As the HR Legal specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's compliance with labour laws and regulations, as well as providing strategic legal advice to support the HR function.

What you'll be doing

  • Advise the HR team on the legal implications of HR policies, procedures and practices
  • Review and draft employment contracts, agreements and other HR-related legal documents
  • Ensure the company's compliance with labour laws, regulations and industry standards
  • Represent the company in labour disputes, negotiations and litigation
  • Provide training and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related legal matters
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in labour legislation and their impact on the business
  • Collaborate with the legal department to maintain consistency in the company's approach to HR-related legal issues

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Law, with a specialisation in Industrial Relations and Employment Law
  • At least 1 years of experience in an HR legal or employment law role, preferably within a fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Thorough understanding of Philippine labour laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on providing practical and business-oriented solutions
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multifunctional team
