Job Summary:

The position works jointly with the Compensation and Benefits Division Head in implementing and overseeing the day-to-day management and administration of payroll and benefits of the bank and specific subsidiaries, ensuring efficient, effective and compliant HR processes through appropriate control measures. Further, the role strategically partners with Compensation and Benefits Division in the implementation and administration of rewards programs as well as in ensuring that a complete and up-to-date policies relevant to compensation and benefits are in place.

How will you contribute:

  • Manages the implementation of control measures over the bank's payroll administration through; a) Ensuring accuracy, timeliness of processing and pay-out and compliance with relevant regulations; and b) Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity within the HR Information system (HRIS).
  • Oversees the end-to-end administration of payroll and employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans and other related offerings, for specific RCBC subsidiaries.
  • Strategically partners with Compensation & Benefits Division in the implementation and administration of rewards programs in the Bank and specific subsidiaries.
  • Creates, updates, and implements HR policies and guidelines for various functional areas, ensuring they are benchmarked against industry best practices, legally compliant, and strategically aligned with the company's HR philosophy to complement existing retention programs.
  • Prepares periodic HR and government regulatory reports and other special reports relevant to HR functions being handled.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve HR processes and workflows, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conducts research on various HR topics and manages special projects as needed or as assigned.
  • In executing processes, focuses on ensuring that the organization adheres to all applicable labor laws and regulations, including maintaining compliance with legal and reporting requirements.

What will make you successful:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree, preferably in Psychology or Behavioral Science
  • With adequate knowledge of strategic HR planning, payroll & benefits administration, rewards management, employment laws and regulations; Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant software
  • At least five years of well-rounded experience/exposure in HR operations or related work, including 3 years in a supervisory role
