J&T Express Philippines is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance-IT Data Analyst to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a data enthusiast with strong technical skills who is eager to apply their expertise in a dynamic logistics environment. While a finance background is a plus, it is not required; we are looking for individuals who can demonstrate proficiency in data management and analysis and a willingness to learn the financial aspects of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Integration: Operate, maintain, and optimize databases including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Data Extraction & Transformation: Write and execute complex queries using various SQL dialects (e.g., T-SQL, PL/SQL, etc.) to extract, transform, and load (ETL) financial and operational data from disparate sources.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Develop and generate accurate and timely reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate data processes, improve data quality, and enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, IT, and other departments to understand data requirements, provide data-driven insights, and support various business initiatives.
  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, system errors, and reporting issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of databases, data models, queries, and reporting procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Strong practical experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL (Query Language) for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation is a significant advantage.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and reporting.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive Learner: Eager to learn about financial concepts, business processes, and the logistics industry.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php45,000.00 per month
