Café Chef - coffee shop during day, bar at night
Educational Background:
An Associate Degree Holder of any 1 or 2-year Course, preferably in Food Technology, or a Food-related course/Bachelor's Degree holder preferably in the Culinary related courses is an advantage.
Work Experience:
- With at least 2 years solid kitchen work experience.
- Handles various positions such as line cook, Sous Chef, fry cook and expediter.
Qualifications:
- Having full knowledge and understanding on food service, food safety and sanitation
- Excellent customer relations and have the ability to resolve conflicts
- A team-player and has a good leadership skill
- Can work under pressure and can be able do multi-tasking.
- Knowledgeable in Filipino dishes.
- Good Supervisory and Leadership skills.
- Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends if and when required.
- Able to manage food costs and food waste.
- Team Player and Problem Solver
- Expertise in menu and new product development related to Pika-Pika ,Pastry operations
- Ability to effectively read, write and speak English.
Job Description:
- In charge of a small outlet that serves a limited menu
- Ensures that the preparation, presentation and needed culinary services are carried out promptly and to the agreed company standards.
- Assists in developing the culinary team and menu
- Maintains all standard recipes and updates these when necessary.
- Keeps abreast of all modern techniques and advancement to improve the kitchen menu.
- Check the quality and quantity of items ordered and received from stores.
- Ensures that operational targets are met and devices corrective and preventive action plans for incidents or failure to meet targets.
- Controls actual hours worked for all team members reporting under him / her.
- Read and employ math skills for following recipes.
- Works to reduce accident costs by ensuring a safe workplace.
- Adhere to cost control procedures for cost and quality.
- Coordinates closely with the commissary team in relation to operations.
- Ensures that the packaging room and the dry storage area are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition and stocks are properly organized and arranged, quantities are timely tracked.

Pay: Php25, Php30,000.00 per month
