Job Description

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for managing the full Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of all AP-related outputs. This role supports operations, coordinates with clients, and helps drive process improvements within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic / Tactical

  • Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
  • Review AP transactions and supporting documents for accuracy.
  • Prepare the annual monthly calendar of AP activities.
  • Join client calls and provide insights for process improvement.
  • Support the Operations Manager to ensure adequate resources for meeting SLAs.

Reports & Analytics

  • Prepare and submit AP aging reports and other required account reports.
  • Monitor and summarize document volumes and escalate significant changes.
  • Generate ad hoc reports requested by management.

Process & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of AP requests and reports.
  • Safeguard data and confidential information from loss or unauthorized access.
  • Communicate process updates and exceptions to the team.

Leadership

  • Coach and counsel direct reports.
  • Participate in training and company programs.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Baseline Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounting, with supervisory or managerial experience preferred in Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing and BPO field.
  • Strong Communicator and has Interpersonal Communication Skills
  • Knowledgeable in Accounting systems.
  • Proactive, Detail Oriented, Resourceful & Self Starter
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Can start ASAP
