We're looking for a seasoned HR Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company. This is a high-level leadership role that requires strong HR expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse leadership team, including Indian national executives.
As the HR Manager, you will lead and shape the full spectrum of HR strategies and operations. You will play a pivotal role in driving talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational culture in a highly regulated and fast-paced industry.
This position is ideal for a senior, confident HR leader with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals and company values.
- Partner with company leadership, including Indian national bosses, to drive organizational effectiveness, cultural alignment, and change management.
- Lead workforce planning and HR initiatives to support business growth.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
- Design and oversee recruitment strategies for specialized pharmaceutical roles and support functions.
- Build a strong employer brand and deliver an excellent candidate experience.
- Implement and manage recruitment metrics, analytics, and process improvements.
Performance Management & Learning
- Drive a performance-driven culture through clear goal setting, coaching, and performance reviews.
- Design and execute training, development, and leadership programs to strengthen talent pipelines.
Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
- Oversee compensation benchmarking, salary structuring, and benefits management.
- Ensure strict compliance with Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, and data privacy policies.
- Manage HR policies, contracts, and employee records.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and implement effective feedback mechanisms.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions with professionalism.
HR Technology & Analytics
- Maximize the use of HR systems and tools to automate and streamline processes.
- Use HR analytics to provide insights and support evidence-based decisions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certification such as CHRP, SPHRi, SHRM-CP is a strong plus).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Solid track record across all HR functions: recruitment, labor relations, OD, compensation & benefits, compliance, and performance management.
- Experience working with multicultural leadership teams, preferably with Indian nationals, is highly desirable.
- Background in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and modern HR practices.
