Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable HR Officer with 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing and handling government-mandated contributions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, familiar with HR administrative processes, and capable of ensuring accurate and timely salary disbursement while maintaining compliance with local labor and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the end-to-end payroll, ensuring accurate computation of salaries, overtime, deductions, and adjustments.
- Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with Accounting or Finance for timely salary disbursement.
- Ensure accurate computation and timely remittance of government-mandated benefits (e.g., SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Prepare and file statutory reports and documentation in compliance with local labor laws and government regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting payroll and employee benefits and implement necessary updates.
- Support the onboarding and offboarding process in terms of payroll and benefits administration.
- Provide payroll-related information to employees and respond to payroll inquiries.
- Assist in internal or external payroll and compliance audits.
- Generate regular and ad hoc payroll and contribution reports for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar payroll-focused role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and government-mandated contributions.
- Familiarity with labor laws and statutory compliance in the Philippines.
- Proficient in MS Excel and payroll systems/software.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
