Reports to: HR Officer and Hr & Payroll Manager
Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant (AU support) provides administrative and operational support to the AU HR department, ensuring efficient and effective HR processes. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with onboarding, including enrolment in Dayforce, and preparing employment contracts and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative duties for the HR department, including employee enrolment, password resets, adding Badge IDs, and ensuring data accuracy in HR information systems.
- Prepare and maintain the store Masterfile, ensuring it is organised and up to date.
- Draft and monitor employment contracts.
- Maintain and update employee records in an organised manner.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, such as the daily progress report.
- Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support as required.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Dayforce).
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Effective time management and task prioritisation.
- Flexibility to manage ad hoc tasks and shifting priorities.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Dayforce is highly regarded.
