Company Description
Medicare Plus is an HMO/health insurance company based in the Philippines, dedicated to ensuring healthcare security for the Filipino community. With over 500 accredited hospitals and clinics, and more than 5,000 medical and dental practitioners nationwide, we are committed to providing quality healthcare services.
Job Title: Sales Manager
As a Sales Manager, you will take a strategic role in leading and motivating our sales team to achieve and exceed performance targets. You will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing growth strategies that drive membership acquisition, corporate partnerships, and long-term client relationships. Beyond targets, you will also serve as a mentor and coach—developing talent, fostering collaboration, and cultivating a sales culture built on integrity, empathy, and results.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and inspire the team to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, business partners, and community networks.
- Ensure excellent delivery of product presentations, client orientations, and sales pitches.
- Oversee and analyze sales performance metrics to guide business decisions and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (Marketing, Operations, and Customer Care) to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Organize regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Uphold compliance with all applicable healthcare and insurance regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Healthcare, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, with 2+ years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Must have experience in health insurance or HMO
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales software is preferred.
- Highly driven, professional, and ethical, with a customer-centric mindset.
