About the Opportunity

We are seeking an Accounting Manager who is passionate about solving complex challenges and eager to help scale our business. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will gain exposure to nearly all aspects of our financial operations, spanning multiple product lines across domestic and international entities. You will own key components of the month-end close, contribute to executive and board-level financial reporting, and play a central role in our annual audit processes. In addition, you'll help shape and refine our accounting policies and procedures, while actively supporting financial planning as we rapidly grow and prepare for an IPO.

How you will make an impact:

• Manage a significant portion of our month-end close activities, including areas of revenue recognition, expense accruals, intercompany transactions and departmental allocations, account reconciliation and flux analysis
• Monitor irregularities for day-to-day accounting operations
• Review the work of junior team members and provide coaching and mentorship.
• Assist in the preparation of executive and board level financial reporting on a monthly basis
• Perform or review select treasury functions such as batch contractor payments and cross border intercompany settlements
• Manage a significant portion of our annual financial audit
• Prepare Technical Accounting memorandums for significant transactions
• Understand and provide interpretations of new accounting pronouncements and assess whether they are applicable to the Company.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop best-in-class processes for various areas within accounting and financial operations.
• Lead in the activity of improving controls, systems and processes across all areas of accounting operations towards IPO readiness.

Ideal profile:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting - required
• CPA - required
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience - required
• U.S. GAAP experience - required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - required
• Team management experience - required
• Experience with Netsuite - strongly preferred
• A mix of public practice and industry - strongly preferred
• Experience with IPO readiness - preferred
• Knowledge of technical accounting topics including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC preferred
