About the Role

Co Ban Kiat Hardware, Inc., one of the country's leading hardware distributors, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the company's end-to-end accounting operations, covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.

The ideal candidate is a CPA-licensed leader with a strong command of accounting principles, tax compliance, and ERP systems, capable of ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and integrity in all financial reporting and transactions.


Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the entire accounting cycle including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in SAP or ERP (invoices, collections, accruals, adjustments, etc.).
  • Supervise billing, collections, vendor payments, and expense recognition.
  • Review and reconcile subsidiary ledgers and general ledger balances.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and management reports.
  • Ensure proper tax computation, filing, and compliance with BIR and other government requirements.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of reports.
  • Coordinate with external and internal auditors for audit schedules and documentation.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff to promote accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger processes.
  • Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of Philippine Taxation, BIR compliance, and audit standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
