Job Description

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will support purchasing and logistics by maintaining accurate supplier and inventory data, preparing reports, analyzing costs, coordinating freight, and assisting with continuous process improvements to help optimize end-to-end supply chain operations.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics support
  • Prior experience in a buy-sell B2B wholesale business in Australia or New Zealand is highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with freight invoice reconciliation and domestic freight analysis is a strong advantage

Your Daily Tasks

  • Assist in maintaining accurate supplier, product, and inventory data
  • Support the preparation of supply chain reports and dashboards
  • Review and analyze landed cost reports, including expected vs actual costs
  • Investigate and report on cost variances (freight, duties, exchange rates, supplier pricing)
  • Analyze domestic outbound freight costs, reconcile freight invoices, and identify discrepancies
  • Liaise with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries
  • Coordinate purchase orders, shipments, and documentation
  • Participate in system and process improvements, including NetSuite WMS integrations
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Manager and supply chain team
