About the role

As the Purchasing Supervisor for CIRCLE SQUARE BUILDERS INC', you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction projects. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City Metro Manila. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely delivery of supplies to support the successful completion of our projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible prices, quality, and delivery terms
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the logistics team to ensure timely replenishment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Analyse purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with project managers to understand and plan for upcoming material requirements
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement
  • Supervise and mentor a team of purchasing professionals

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory sub-industry
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive purchasing decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Thorough understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
