Job Summary

The person oversees the performance of day to day inventory control and accounting. The role performs updates of inventory transactions in the system to ensure correct inventory volume, cost, and valuation. The role also does inventory-related administrative work.

Performs daily tasks but not limited to the following:

1. Set up of new code for new item/new vendor to the systems (PRO) item information sheets originating from Purchasing

2. Does ABC (an inventory categorization technique) analysis for selective inventory control

3. Review transaction edit lists from the warehouse to check for potential errors

4. Verifies unit cost used in Purchase Order (PO)

5. Prepares upon request for transfer of stocks

6. Verifies counting of supplies in stock on the store.

7. Reporting/Analyzing discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

Monitors other stock-related transactions.

Performs weekly/monthly tasks but not limited to the following:

1. Weekly reporting and verification of disposals.

2. Weekly recording of Item-Pull Out in the system (AX)

3. Monthly reconciliation of sales with Zero inventory.

4. Monthly preparation of reports for inventory.


•Support the Inventory Supervisor in providing timely and accurate inventory related reports and information to key stakeholders.

•Support in the internal audit of the company inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• Must have exposure in Computerized Accounting Systems

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and Word

• Must possesses communication skills
