Accounting Supervisor

Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines Millennium Distribution Systems Inc. Full time ₱800,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

  • Will be working for sister company of MDSI, Spica Distribution International Inc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing governmental remittances for VAT and withholding taxes.

  • Reviewing general ledger (GL) accounts in the accounting system.

  • Preparation of bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.

  • Preparation of all account schedules to support the Trial Balance and Financial Statements to be prepared by the Accounting Manager.

  • Participation in the monthly inventory in HO and branches and preparation of reconciliation, as needed.

  • Participation in the hiring process of new and replacing accounting staff (rank and file).

  • Participation in queries and answering Internal Audit findings relative to Accounting issues or other departments' concerns.

  • Preparation of Accounting Policies, Guidelines and Procedures, as requested or deemed necessary.

  • Coordination of branch accounting concerns.

  • Preparation of bank presentation and mancom materials, if needed.

  • Other tasks that may be asked by immediate superior.

Qualifications:

  • Accountancy graduate

  • Has relevant experience with AP, AR, Inventory, Treasury, and General Accounting

  • Familiarity with MS Office and Accounting software

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Great leadership skills and is a team player
