ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Location: Ortigas, Pasig City

Reports To: Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR with a strong background in the food and beverage industry and hands-on experience in SAP and manual accounting processes. This role will support the Accounting Manager in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in reporting, and supervising accounting staff. The Accounting Supervisor will play a critical role in monitoring costs, inventories, payables, and receivables, while providing financial insights to guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor supplier billings, payments, collections, and credit terms.
  • Oversee franchisee billings, receivables, and aging reports.
  • Manage inventory, cost controls, and variance analysis across commissary and store operations.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements (BIR, VAT, FDA, etc.).
  • Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Train staff on accounting systems (ERP/SAP) and reporting standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Warehouse, Logistics, Production, QA) for reconciliations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fiel
  • At least 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • With experience in Food and Beverage Industry.
  • Proficient in ERP/SAP and manual accounting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and cost accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and coordinate effectively across departments.
