Responsible for overseeing the daily production activities in the bakery to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of baked goods. The role requires strong leadership, process management, and quality assurance skills to meet production targets while maintaining product consistency, hygiene, and safety standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and manage production staff, including bakers, assistants, and support staff. Address and resolve manpower-related issues, including shift scheduling, performance management, and training needs.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and production targets.
  • Oversee the entire bakery production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Ensure the strict observance of food safety, hygiene standards, and all relevant policies and procedures, including Critical Control Points and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Capable of conducting Research & Development (R&D) for new bakery products, including formulation, trial production, sensory evaluation, and process optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product concepts into scalable, commercially viable items while ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably High School graduate or Vocational Course or Graduate of HRM / Food Related Course
  • Attended seminars related to Baking is favorable.
  • At least 2 years' experience in related job.
  • At least knowledgeable of baking bread, pastries cakes.
