Position Summary

This role is responsible for creating compelling headlines, body copy, and other written content for both digital and non-digital communication channels, including resort collateral. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in copywriting, with expertise in storytelling, audience targeting, and messaging strategies. The role requires close collaboration with the creative team and cross-functional groups to develop engaging, effective written content that resonates with the target audience and supports the overall marketing objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, on-brand headlines, body copy, and other written materials for a variety of communication platforms, both digital and non-digital, including resort collateral.
  • Work with the creative team, marketing, and other departments to align project objectives, target audience insights, and messaging strategies with brand guidelines and marketing goals.
  • Research industry trends, audience behavior, and the competitive landscape to produce relevant, impactful, and targeted content.
  • Contribute to the creative development process by sharing input and ideas to improve the effectiveness of visual and written communications.
  • Proofread and edit all copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand guidelines, as well as legal and regulatory standards.
  • Manage multiple copywriting projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Continuously improve copywriting skills by staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and maintain a cohesive brand voice and style across all communications materials.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in copywriting, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative work across various channels and formats.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Deep understanding of storytelling, audience targeting, and messaging strategies.
  • Ability to adapt writing style and tone to align with brand guidelines, project objectives, and audience preferences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and learn fast.
