POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Manager supports the Manager, Senior Manager, and Vice President of Legal & Compliance in handling the organization's legal operations. The role involves assisting with day-to-day legal matters and providing reliable legal guidance to executive leadership and internal teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide legal support to the Manager, Senior Manager, and VP – Legal for Integrated Resort Operations
- Represent the company in court and quasi-judicial proceedings when necessary
- Review case endorsements for potential legal action, including analysis of facts and documents
- Draft and review pleadings, legal documents, and court submissions related to ongoing cases
- Coordinate with internal departments on legal matters requiring action or advice
- Track and monitor cases handled by external legal counsel
- Review, revise, or draft contracts and agreements as requested
- Provide legal opinions and advice on various corporate and operational matters
- Participate in internal administrative investigations and recommend disciplinary action in line with company policies
- Conduct legal research and prepare reports on relevant legal issues
- Handle remedial legal actions, such as drafting demand letters and facilitating settlements
- Perform other legal functions as assigned by the company
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in legal practice
- Background as in-house counsel or associate in a law firm
- Must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar
- Solid knowledge of corporate law, labor law, and litigation
- Strong communication skills with a respectful and constructive approach
- Analytical thinker with clear and logical problem-solving abilities
- Willing to be assigned at either Solaire North (Quezon City) or Solaire Resort Entertainment City (Parañaque)
