Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

Design and own the quarterly/monthly email roadmap to drive acquisition, re-activation, VIP retention, and cross-sell.

Campaign Creation & Execution

  • Write high-impact subject lines, body copy, and CTAs.
  • Build responsive email templates (desktop + mobile) either in-house or in collaboration with a designer.

Segmentation & Automation

  • Use an ESP (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo, SendGrid) to define audience segments and trigger workflows (drip, win-back, VIP upsell).

Data Analysis & Optimization

  • Track Open Rate, CTR, Conversion Rate, Unsubscribe Rate, deliver regular performance reports
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, send times, content blocks—and iterate based on data.

Deliverability & Compliance

  • Maintain list hygiene (suppression, bounce handling), manage IP/domain warm-up.
  • Ensure GDPR/Data Privacy Act compliance: clear opt-ins, unsubscribe links, privacy notices.

Required Qualifications

  • Have 2+ years experience in B2C email marketing—ideally in ecommerce, online gaming, or casino.
  • Hands-on with at least one major ESP (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, SendGrid, etc.).

Technical Skills

  • Strong copywriting skills in English (localization a plus).
  • Comfortable with basic HTML/CSS for template tweaks.
  • Advanced Excel (or SQL/BI tools) for cohort analysis and reporting.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent project management: juggle multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional communicator: align with Ops, Design, Product, Legal.
  • Proactive learner: stays on top of deliverability best practices, privacy regulations, and new ESP features.

Advantage if you have:

  • Prior work in regulated industries (e.g. gambling/casino compliance).
  • Hands-on experience with customer-lifecycle management (CLM) and LTV optimization.
  • SMS or push-notification marketing experience for multi-channel drip.
  • Deep familiarity with Philippine market and telco SMS rules.
