Role Summary:

  • Position: Business Development Specialist
  • Location: Remote (Work from Home)
  • Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify new leads received from the website.
  • Create new proposals for qualified leads and ensure accuracy before submission.
  • Send proposals to prospects through the CRM via emails and SMS.
  • Monitor sales-related emails and respond to phone enquiries promptly.
  • Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities through networking and research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Provide timely updates on lead statuses and sales progress.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role (minimum 2 years required).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent phone skills, with the ability to handle enquiries and build rapport effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum of 2 Years of Experience in the Shipping & Logistics industry Dealing with Intermodal Logistics, FCL's or Customs Brokerage and Wharf Cartage.
  • Worked for an Australian business for at least 2 years.
