Job Summary:

We are looking for a Safety Officer 3 (SO3) to join our team and ensure strict compliance with occupational safety and health standards at our project sites. The SO3 will oversee safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and promote a culture of safety in all operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS).
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
  • Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with corrective action plans.
  • Facilitate toolbox meetings, orientations, and safety trainings.
  • Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and workers regarding safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper documentation of safety records, permits, and reports for DOLE compliance.
  • Serve as the primary contact during DOLE inspections and safety-related meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a DOLE-accredited Safety Officer 3 (SO3).
  • Completed at least 80 hours of OSH-related training (BOSH + advanced OSH courses).
  • With minimum of 3 years' experience as a Safety Officer in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Preferably a graduate of Engineering, Nursing, or any safety-related field.
  • Knowledgeable in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety program implementation.
  • With good leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
  • With First Aid Standard Training with AED / BLS certification (preferred).
  • Willing to be assigned in San Luis, Batangas
