Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Facilities Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily housekeeping and janitorial operations within the facility. The role ensures that all areas are clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health, safety, and sanitation standards. This includes supervising housekeeping personnel, coordinating cleaning schedules, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure quality performance and compliance with company policies.
• Assign and monitor daily cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas (offices, restrooms, common areas, production floors, etc.) are maintained to high standards.
• Inspect work areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and adherence to housekeeping protocols.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment; request replenishments as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and maintain housekeeping schedules, attendance records, and work reports.
• Coordinate with maintenance and pest control teams for overall facility hygiene.
• Handle client feedback, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Support waste management and recycling programs within the facility.
• Conduct regular refresher training on cleaning standards, safety procedures, and use of cleaning chemicals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Industrial Management, or related field (preferred).
• At least 2–5 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services, preferably in a facilities management or industrial setting.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours and handle multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in report preparation and inventory monitoring.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php800.00 per day
