We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and gathering specific data from various online sources and accurately recording it into Excel spreadsheets. Your work will be vital to supporting decision-making processes and ensuring our data is up-to-date and comprehensive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct online research to gather relevant data from various sources, such as websites, databases, and industry reports.
  • Input, organize, and maintain data accurately in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ensure data is cleaned, properly formatted, and consistent across all entries.
  • Verify the accuracy of collected information and cross-check sources when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Assist with data analysis tasks, summarizing key findings from the collected data.
  • Report any issues or discrepancies in data findings to supervisors or relevant teams.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in data entry, research, or similar roles (experience with Excel is a must).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of web search tools, databases, and online research techniques.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or platforms (e.g., Google Sheets, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a research or data analysis role.
