Role Overview
The Assistant Brand Manager – Social Channels helps build and grow PICKUP COFFEE's digital presence, with a primary focus on increasing followers and engagement across key platforms. This role manages day-to-day content execution on social media, LinkedIn, website, app, and email, while tracking performance to guide continuous improvement.
Working with creative agencies, platform partners, and internal teams, the role ensures campaigns are digital-first, insight-led, and shareable. It also involves monitoring competitors, spotting trends, and leveraging cultural moments to spark community engagement through UGC, challenges, and digital-led initiatives.
The Assistant Brand Manager partners closely with the PH Brand Lead and other divisions to align all social initiatives with the Integrated Marketing Calendar (IMC), ensuring campaigns support business objectives, seasonal priorities, and include strong TikTok-first executions.
Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but is not limited to: 1. Growth & Analytics
- Own follower growth and engagement as the primary KPI.
- Monitor performance across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other channels, providing insights and action plans.
- Benchmark against competitors and apply learnings to strengthen PICKUP's content strategy.
2. Social Media & Channel Management
- Manage daily postings, ensuring content is shareable, community-driven, and on-trend.
- Expand organic reach through UGC, challenges, and social-first activations.
- Engage with PICKUP Friends by amplifying their content and fostering conversations.
- Maintain cohesive, visually engaging feeds, especially on Instagram.
- Ensure all posts and campaigns consistently reflect PICKUP COFFEE's brand identity.
3. Content Calendar & IMC Integration
- Own the social content calendar to ensure consistent posting, timely releases, and campaign readiness.
- Partner with the PH Brand Lead to integrate social plans into the broader IMC.
- Ensure all campaigns are digital-led with clear TikTok execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out initiatives across all channels.
4. Agency, Partner & Platform Collaboration
- Coordinate with agencies and platform partners to deliver high-quality, on-time content.
- Build strong relationships with platform reps (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.) to maximize tools, resources, and opportunities.
- Identify and act on cultural and digital moments to boost real-time engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 3–5 years in social media or digital marketing, with proven success in growing social channels.
- Skills:
- Strong project management skills — able to manage calendars, stakeholders, and deliverables with precision.
- Ability to review and evaluate creative work to ensure quality, brand alignment, and effectiveness.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
- Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- KPI-driven with a passion for building and engaging online communities.
- Creative, agile, and always tuned in to social and cultural trends.
- Proactive, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and willing to work overtime or weekends when needed.
