About the role

Plus Eighty One Bar and Restaurant Corporation is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support the overall marketing objectives of our popular bar and restaurant in the heart of Makati City, Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee the company's social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
  2. Create and curate engaging, on-brand content to post across our social platforms
  3. Develop and implement a social media content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule
  4. Monitor and analyse social media metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader marketing campaigns and initiatives
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices, and make recommendations to enhance our digital presence
  7. Respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner
  8. Assist with the management of our online reputation and the resolution of any social media-related issues

What we're looking for

  1. 2-3 years of experience in a social media management role, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage industry
  2. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging social content
  3. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
  4. Proficiency in using social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret social media data and draw insights to inform strategy
  6. Creativity and a keen eye for visual design to produce visually appealing social content
  7. Excellent time management and multitasking skills to manage multiple social channels simultaneously
  8. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
