Job description:

  1. Monitor, control and facilitate food provision requisition from ocean-going vessels and endure that supplies are delivered timely in the most efficient and cost-effective manner;

  2. Evaluate the inventory reports received from the vessel

  3. Ensure that all provisions requisition is approved by the owner/client.

  4. Ensure that vessel's food consumption is in line with the approved budget per crew/day.

  5. Check quotations as per client's procedure and available procurement system provided by clients;

  6. Carry out inventory inspection in case the vessel is in convenient port and as per request and approval of the client;

  7. Communicate with the vessel's Master, Chief Cook, Clients' Procurement Representative and Owner's Representative for the necessary coordination and approval;

  8. Control of food provisions and delivery as per approved budget of the client;

  9. Provide monthly report to clients and Technical Manager;

  10. Oversee the work of Provision Handler trainee/Asst.

  11. Monitor vessel's itinerary and ensure that provisions requisitions are supplied timely by the approved supplier.

  12. Conduct provision management orientation to all Chief Cook scheduled to embark onboard the vessel of the clients as endorsed by the accredited recruitment company of the client.

  13. Monitor the victualing reports from all vessels under the management of the company and prepare analysis and reports thereto to be sent to clients;

  14. Reviews submitted analysis from the vessel considering also the feedback on quality of supply and supplier.

  15. Provides and follows up information of remaining onboard report/inventory;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
