Key responsibilities include diagnosing electrical problems, replacing faulty components, performing preventative maintenance, managing parts procurement, and maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities

  • Diagnosis & Repair: Identify and resolve issues within vehicle electrical and electronic systems using specialized diagnostic tools.
  • Installation: Install new wiring, alarm systems, and electrical components on construction vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintenance: Conduct regular preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure longevity and reliability.
  • Component Replacement: Repair and replace damaged or faulty wiring, alternators, starters, and other electrical parts.
  • System Servicing: Service electrical components of heavy equipment, trucks, and machinery used in construction projects.
  • Safety & Quality: Ensure that all electrical work meets safety standards and maintains the overall quality of the equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage the procurement of necessary auto parts.
  • Documentation: Complete job reports, maintain records of work performed, and track repair costs and time.
  • Environmental Awareness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including modern electronic systems and components.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic equipment.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent ability to identify and solve complex electrical problems.
  • Physical & Mental Fitness: Ability to work physically and mentally in demanding environments.
