The Finance Assistant is in charge of keeping track of the company's finances and directly assists the Accountant by encoding financial data and preparing financial reports. This position also provides support to the company's day-to-day operations by recording and processing financial transactions. Moreover, the Finance Assistant also helps verify the details of all expenses made by employees and managers and ensures strict compliance to internal Finance policies and procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Encodes and processes supplier/vendor requests for payment

Reviews and processes employee reimbursements and other requests for budget or payment

Executes necessary follow-up with clients, suppliers, and partners for invoices, payments, and official receipts

Updates financial spreadsheets with daily transactions

Prepares balance sheets

Tracks and reconciles bank statements

Creates cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs)

Processes tax payments, as required/needed

Extends support to the HR Department for payroll and document organization needs

Records all accounts payable and accounts receivable

Provides administrative support during budget preparation and finance planning

Works with the Accountant and Head of Finance for quarterly and annual audits

Qualifications:

College Graduate

May be a fresh graduate, or at least 1 year of experience working as a Finance Assistant

Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures

Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel Skills (spreadsheet preparation using financial functions)

Familiarity with accounting software (Quickbooks is preferred)

Good organizational and time-management skills

Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php21, Php23,000.00 per month
