Job Description:

  • Implement and adapt sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed district sales targets. Monitor market and competitor activities to adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team within the district, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, and resources to achieve their sales goals. Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers in the district. Identify new business opportunities and work to expand the customer base.
  • Track sales performance against targets, providing regular reports to senior management. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage the district's sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently and expenses are controlled to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure the sales team's operations are efficient and effective, adhering to company policies and industry regulations. Address any operational issues that arise, ensuring minimal disruption to sales activities.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a unified approach to achieving sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on customer trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, preferably with an MBA degree
  • Proven experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the same industry or related field.
  • Must have a background in handling National Key Accounts, FMCG in Modern Trade and General Trade (Distributors) .
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic planning, and analytical skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel within the district as required and flexibility in work hours to meet business needs.
