The purpose of this role is to support HR core/essential work for an area requiring senior professional knowledge.

Employees at this level work under minimal supervision, have comprehensive working knowledge, and handle complex issues and problems.

This role reports to Mgr, Area HR Operations with frequent partnership with workforce and area leaders, area HR team, and headquarters COEs.

  • HR Core, Operations/Compliance, Legal/Workforce Relations essential work, Recruitment

o HR Policy administration and guiding principles interpretation

o Workforce relations dispute resolution processes

o Operational risk analysis & ad hoc reporting

o Reduction in Force administration and support

o Exit interviews, administration and reporting

o Belonging and diversity initiatives lead

o Local administration of needs for expatriate employees

o Business requirements/technology roll-out

o Legal review of employment separations, training and workforce relations investigations

  • Other essential tasks as assigned.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4 years professional experience or any combination of equivalent education and work experience
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of HR operations
  • Familiarity of best practices of HR functions
  • Key skills and core competencies include the ability to:

o Build relationships

o Consult with business leaders

o Deliver excellent customer service

o Coach and develop employees

o Analyze and interpret data

o Facilitate organizational change

o Communicate effectively in writing and verbally through influence and compromise

o Resolve employee relations issues

  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certification in HR
