We started from the Philippines and now we are in Singapore. As our footprint expands, we need a leader to take charge of our Singapore business. As a business director, your job will be to take charge of our Singapore based clients and  help us grow in a sustainable manner. You will be responsible for bringing to life Avyan's value proposition of operating at the intersection of marketing and technology. This means a mix of agency type work involving campaigns across digital media, creative, social  combined with project management on tech projects like CRM migration, Adobe implementation etc.

About the Position

As a
Business Analyst

, you will play a key role in shaping and executing technology-driven initiatives, including CRM implementations and digital transformation programs. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and ensure that solutions align with strategic goals.

This role requires a balance of analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong communication to connect business priorities with technical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, including senior leadership, product managers, and subject matter experts, to understand business needs and ensure alignment with project goals.

Business Process Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable solutions to enhance performance and user experience — particularly within technology and CRM ecosystems.

Requirements Gathering

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to gather clear and actionable business requirements.
• Document and communicate these requirements effectively to development and QA teams.

Solution Design and Validation

• Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate solutions that meet business and functional needs.
• Participate in reviews of functional specifications and test cases to ensure solution quality and accuracy.

Project Management Support

• Work closely with project managers to track progress, manage deliverables, and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Support risk identification, issue resolution, and project documentation.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to developing business analysis best practices.
• Support adoption of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies as needed.

Risk and Change Management

• Proactively assess potential risks, recommend mitigations, and support change control processes to maintain delivery stability.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Knowledge

• Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
- Domain Knowledge:

Understanding of digital transformation, CRM systems, and technology-driven business processes.

Skills

• Experience:

3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within digital, technology, or CRM implementation projects.
- Requirements Documentation:

Skilled in producing detailed documentation — including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Technical Proficiency:

Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and project management platforms. Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical information into business language.
- Stakeholder Management:

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Problem Solving:

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented approach.
