Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to oversee and manage payroll operations while supporting the broader finance function. This role is pivotal in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in payroll processes across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timesheet collection, ensuring timely submission and resolution of outstanding timesheets and invoices.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for contractors with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain and streamline weekly timesheet and invoice procedures.
- Enter expenses and perform credit card reconciliations in Xero.
- Liaise with clients and candidates to address payroll and accounts-related queries.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with finance partners.
- Manage daily bank reconciliations and calculate weekly drawdown requirements.
- Assist in preparing weekly Actual Gross Profit Reports for management.
- Monitor, track, and communicate debtor status through Aged Analysis Reports.
- Verify and approve new placements in the ATS database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation.
- Support tax compliance activities (BAS, IAS, PRT, FBT) in collaboration with tax advisors.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements across accounts and payroll.
- Provide innovative solutions to eliminate bottlenecks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Perform other duties as required by management, adapting responsibilities to meet evolving company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 5+ years' experience in Australian payroll or accounting roles
- Proficiency in Xero and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of payroll procedures, compliance, and taxation
- Excellent English communication skills – able to liaise with clients, candidates, and finance partners
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM
