Job Description: Application Support Specialist (2nd Line Support)
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our technical support team. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience in 2nd line support, and a solid background in application support for enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line technical support for internal and external applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated incidents, service requests, and system issues.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to diagnose and fix application-related problems.
- Monitor application performance, logs, and alerts to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Document solutions, incident resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Assist in root-cause analysis and contribute to continuous service improvements.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in technical or application support.
- Solid experience in 2nd line support or more technical support roles.
- Hands-on experience in application support, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills for handling cross-functional collaboration and user interactions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Java-based applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
